With the implementation of ANSI Standard Z21.80/CSA6.22, appliance regulators and medium pressure regulators may no longer be used as line pressure regulators. The text "Medium Pressure Regulator" has been replaced with "Certified Line Pressure Regulator" in the standard.

To make it easy for inspectors to identify Maxitrol's 325-L Series line pressure regulators, we now attach a yellow sticker to the stack of the regulator that reads "Certified Gas Pressure Regulator, Z21.80/CSA6.22." Maxitrol Company is the only company offering 2 and 5 psi line pressure regulators with OPDs (overpressure protection device) certified to ANSI Z21.80/CSA6.22.

NOTE: Please remember to specify Maxitrol 325's when ordering from CSST manufacturers. Several wholesalers have reported receiving shipments of line pressure regulators that were not 100% Maxitrol.
